(Leominster, Mass.) Fidelity Bank today announced the appointment of Rosa Maria Salas to Home Loan Specialist serving the Worcester community. She will be located at the Front Street banking center.

Salas comes back to Fidelity Bank as a Home Loan Specialist after working at Worcester Community Housing Resources as the Director of Community Loan Fund for the past three years. At Worcester Community Housing Resources, she oversaw compliance for lending operations and managed due diligence and policy review for loan programs and municipal partnerships.

Salas graduated from Quinsigamond Community College with an associate’s degree in liberal arts and earned a certificate in management from Quinebaug Valley Community College. She holds certifications in home preservation, foreclosure prevention, and first-time homebuyer counseling from NeighborWorks America.

A resident of Danielson, Conn., she is an active member in the Worcester community. She currently serves in leadership roles at Empowering Latina Leaders Affirmation, Adelante Worcester, and the Latin American Business Organization. She is also an advisor for the Worcester Red Sox WEPA Advisory Board and is co-chair of Live Worcester Now with City of Worcester. Previously, she served as a board member for the Central MA Conference for Women.
