Use of Online & Mobile Banking or Fidelity Bank Bill Pay will require Fidelity Bank to disclose personal information to third parties that assist in delivering these services. This information, outlined above in the Use, Collection, Sharing and Retention of Information section, is retained by Fidelity Bank or the Bank’s designated third parties in order to provide the customer with the requested service.
Secure Messaging
Secure Messaging is a secure form of communication located within Online & Mobile Banking, which requires a User ID and password to access. The Bank will retain a copy of all Secure Messaging correspondence (including our response) in order to handle any follow-up questions the customer may have.
Do not send confidential information to the Bank via email. Confidential information should only be disclosed using Secure Messaging, calling Fidelity Bank or by regular mail.
Maintaining Accurate Information
The Bank is required by law to have procedures in place to ensure that customer financial information and history is accurate, current and complete. The Bank will not furnish information relating to a customer to any consumer reporting agency if we know or consciously avoid knowing that the information is inaccurate.
Limiting Employee Access to Information
Employee access to personally identifiable information is limited to those employees with a business reason to know such information about our customers. Bank management is directed to take appropriate disciplinary measures to enforce employee privacy responsibilities.
Security Procedures to Protect Information
Bank management is directed to maintain security standards and procedures to help prevent unauthorized access to confidential information about customers. The Bank will update and test the technology on an ongoing basis to ensure the protection and integrity of customer information.
Fidelity Bank offers Online & Mobile Banking and Bill Pay services to our customers. These services are accessed through an authentication process, which requires two codes, a User ID and password. Our security measures rely in part on these codes remaining confidential. Please do not share these codes or other personal identifiers with others.
Financial Aggregator Sites. Certain eCommerce sites may offer to provide services to you by accessing your accounts through our site. Fidelity Bank cannot guarantee the security of your account when you allow third parties to access your accounts. Please use caution when using financial aggregator sites. NEVER PROVIDE THIS INFORMATION TO A SITE THAT YOU DO NOT RECOGNIZE AND FULLY TRUST.
YOU SHOULD KNOW: ALL transactions initiated by an aggregator site using access information you provided are considered to be authorized by you, whether or not you were aware of the specific transaction. You may revoke this authority only by notifying us in writing, and we may need to block your account until we issue new access codes.
Restrictions on Disclosing Information to Parties Other Than Affiliated Banks and Companies
