Fidelity Bank appoints Omar Mahmood to Vice President, Banking Center Manager for Shrewsbury Street location in Worcester

Fidelity Bank today announced the appointment of Omar Mahmood to Vice President, Banking Center Manager for its Shrewsbury Street location in Worcester. In this role, he will be responsible for overseeing the operations at the banking center while providing financial tools and resources to help clients get where they want to be.

With more than 15 years of progressive experience in bank operations and business development, Mahmood comes to Fidelity Bank from Northern Bank & Trust, where he most recently served as Assistant Vice President and Business Development Manager. While at Northern Bank & Trust, Mahmood increased client assets by $10 million and supported local businesses by helping them with over $100 million in commercial loans to grow their businesses.

A resident of Shrewsbury, Mahmood plays an active and engaged role in several prominent local organizations, contributing to the growth and development of the community. He is a member of the Corridor 9/495 Regional Chamber of Commerce of MetroWest, Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce, Worcester Rotary Club, and the Shrewsbury Street Merchant Association, where he will begin a term as Treasurer in May 2025.

Born and raised in Pakistan in South Asia, he earned a bachelor’s degree in business and management from Fauji Foundation College for Boys in Rawalpindi Pakistan.
