Fitchburg resident wins Fidelity Bank “Our Milestone. Your Moment” dream vacation sweepstakes

As part of a year-long celebration recognizing 20 years of Fidelity Bank’s LifeDesign banking approach of providing clarity, confidence and care, the bank recently held a dream vacation sweeptstakes to align with the LifeDesign promise of helping people get where they want to be.

The dream vacation sweepstakes, “Our Milestone. Your Moment.,” was an opportunity for Fidelity Bank clients and the public to enter a drawing to win a trip to anywhere in the world worth up to $10,000 with Empire Travel, Inc. After receiving more than 1,700 entries, Brian Niquette, Jr., of Fitchburg was named the winner and recognized at the bank’s Shirley banking center on October 27.

“I live in Fitchburg and take the train to Shirley where I work every day so I come here to do all of my banking,” said Niquette. “I didn’t expect to win but to have the chance to travel will be a completely different experience for me from what I am used to.”

Niquette has been banking with Fidelity Bank for more than 10 years, and while he is still unsure of where he would like to travel, he has some ideas, which include England and the Philippines. “I think I will go by myself but I really want to think about how to do this right.”

Joyce Thibault, manager, Shirley banking center, said the drawing couldn’t have gone to a better person. “We’ve known Brian for many years and he is such a hard worker. He is always so kind and I am excited to learn where he decides to go and see photos following his travels.”

The LifeDesign banking promise is focused on a unique four-step C.A.R.E. methodology that includes connecting, analyzing, recommending and executing a plan to help clients accomplish their goals and help make sound decisions about their life, their business and their family.

“Over the past 20 years we’ve seen time and again how our LifeDesign promise helps our clients gain the clarity they need to move forward with confidence,” said Ed Manzi, Jr., chairman and CEO, Fidelity Bank. “I wish Brian a wonderful experience on his upcoming trip!”
