Fidelity Bank is the preferred MassHousing lender and their loans just got even more affordable! For qualified borrowers*, MassHousing now provides down payment assistance for up to 3% of the purchase price or $12,000, whichever is less. Great for first-time homebuyers!
- Down payment assistance is a 15-year, fixed-rate loan at 1%
- (Example: $10,000 down payment assistance loan = 180 payments of $59.85; 1.015% APR)
- Repayment of the down payment assistance is also due upon sale or refinance of the property prior to the end of the15-year term
