Protecting Your Mail

Mail theft is on the rise and can happen anywhere with any type of mailbox. These thefts often take place in the night or early morning, when few witnesses may be around.

Fraudulent Text Message – Debit Card

Fidelity Bank has been notified of fraudulent text messages about debit cards. The text message states that your debit card has been locked and that you need to call to update your PIN number and other card information. It asks clients to contact 866-730-2006. This is a scam and was not sent by Fidelity Bank! Do not attempt to call or text this number or provide any information.

Fidelity Bank will never ask for your personal card information. You can always feel safe by by contacting our Client Care directly at 800.581.5363.


Holiday Shipping Scams

As many are expecting deliveries before the holidays, scammers are taking advantage with phishing attacks, fake deals, lookalike websites, and charity scams. In a recent scam, people have been receiving unsolicited text messages that indicates a USPS delivery requires a response. The message contains a link that leads to a fraudulent website and requires you to enter personal information – this is a scam! Postal services will never send customers texts or emails unless requested, and it will NOT contain a link.
