Caring for our Community

At Fidelity Bank, it is part of our mission to help improve the quality of life of our Clients, Communities, and Colleagues. We strive to be the most caring bank in the community because not only do we work here, but we also live, shop, go to school and raise our families here. Through our Community Dividend and other bank programs, we support the communities who support us.  We are committed to contributing to organizations and initiatives in the Fidelity Bank footprint.

Fidelity Bank established and supports an Inclusion and Diversity Advisory Board, comprised of members of the Bank’s executive team, Board of Directors, Corporators, and colleagues. The Advisory Board provides guidance and leadership for our Inclusion and Diversity Council, which is comprised of passionate Fidelity Bank colleagues who wish to channel their passion for diversity and inclusion into strategies and programs which support the Bank’s commitment in this area. Through the innovation, efforts, and passion of these individuals, Fidelity Bank demonstrates our values in our community by pledging resources, contributions, and our ongoing efforts as strive for a world in which inclusion and equity for all are the standard. The Shine Initiative

There really is no better example of our commitment to our community than our ongoing dedication to The SHINE Initiative. In 2003, we founded The SHINE Initiative, a non-profit organization which seeks to raise awareness that mental illness in children and young adults is a mainstream health issue.

The Directors and colleagues of Fidelity Bank considered what they could to make the meaningful and positive impact on our community. What emerged was a commitment to improving youth mental health. Because to understand something, we must shine the light of understanding and compassion on it.

In pursuit of this mission, The SHINE Initiative develops funding and strategic alliances through schools to improve public awareness and understanding of mental health issues, research and treatment. The Shine Initiative has raised over $1,000,000 to combat discrimination and to destigmatize mental health conditions in youth.  To learn more about how you can join the conversation, visit www.SHINEinitiative.org.
